Dr. Daniel J. Vargovick

Dr. Dan Vargovick grew up in Farmington, attending Our Lady of Sorrows grade school and Catholic Central High School.  He went on to receive his Engineering degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and then his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University.  He returned to his hometown to raise his family and has enjoyed owning Dubin Optometric Clinic for 12 years now.  

With his wife Maureen, they have been providing care to the wonderful patients of Farmington and the surrounding communities in the same caring manner that Dr. Dubin and his wife Susan began some 40 years ago.  Dr. Vargovick also enjoys spending time with his sons Danny Jr. and Christopher, as well as photography, tennis, mountain biking and watching his beloved Michigan Wolverines play football. 

Dr. Vargovick has been honored by Farmington Schools for his partnership in teaching children about the importance of proper eye care through the sheep eye dissection program.  Dr. Vargovick provides excellent care for children and adults.   

Dr. Robert Nagy

Dr. Nagy also grew up in Farmington Hills.  He has his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, and his doctor of Optometry from Ferris State.  He also works with TLC, The Laser Center, where we co-manage Lasik surgery and cataract care.  Dr. Nagy is trained in the latest techniques to diagnose and treat eye disease as well as provide exceptional wellness care.  Welcome Dr. Nagy!  

Maureen Vargovick, Office Manager

Dr. Vargovick's wife Maureen, enjoys using her Masters in Marketing to help Dubin Optometric Clinic stand above the competition in customer care.  She enjoys continuing the tradition at Dubin Optometric of getting to know patients and helping to provide unique vision solutions to fit their lifestyle.  From custom lenses for piano teachers, construction workers, or golfers to the latest trends in designer frames, Maureen strives to delight customers with custom solutions to their needs. 

Lisa Shannon, ABO Certified Optician

Lisa has over twenty years of experience as a certified optician, and manages our on-site lab at Dubin Optometric Clinic.  

Her ability to fix just about anything is not the only reason patients come from miles around to see Lisa, it's also her upbeat attitude and problem solving skills, that bring patients back time and time again.
